The Ford plant in St. Paul got a reprieve a couple of years ago but its days (and moons) are numbered. The assembly plant will close at the end of this year leaving a 125-acre site on the Mississippi River empty and up for grabs.
I edited the post. There's a link from "end of this year" to an article about the closing and efforts that have been made to keep it open. Kind of sad as it's the oldest running Ford plant in the country.

awesome shot....sad story though.....my husband works for ford and business is great...why is the plant closing?
