The Red Pine (also called the Norway Pine) is the state tree of Minnesota. They are so skinny and tall.

Thunderstorm

Shot this at a gas station outside of Virginia, MN. For some reason, the lights and colors from the gas station really set off the deep purples in the sky that afternoon. We drove on out before the storm broke, but I bet it was spectacular.

A shot from a summer up on Burntside Lake near Ely, MN. It's a Minnesotan tradition to head "Up North" every summer and my family is no different, though the lake and the level of northness has changed over the years.

Target Field

I went to my first Twins game at the new Target Field last weekend. It's a gorgeous place.
